The Harold Matthews Cup
is a 15 Team State Wide - Under 16's competition conducted by the NSW Rugby League.
The Harold Matthews Cup runs for 9 Rounds plus finals and was first started in 1970.
The S.G Ball Cup
is a 15 Team State Wide - Under 18's competition conducted by the NSW Rugby League.
The S.G. Ball Cup runs for 9 Rounds plus finals and was first started in 1965.
The Jersey Flegg Cup
is a 14 Team State Wide - Under 20's competition conducted by the NSW Rugby League.
The Jersey Flegg Cup runs for 26 Rounds and was first started in 1961.

METUISELA TAKES TOP AWARD

Balmain Tigers Rugby League Football Club staged its annual presentation night on Thursday, October 26.

Players from the Harold Matthews, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg to Premier League teams were present to receive awards ranging from best and fairest to player of the year.

Second-rower Tevita Metuisela won the Harry Quinlan Award for Premier League Best and Fairest player. Other Premier League awards went to Ben Jeffery for best back, Jarrod Saffy for best forward, Taniela Tuiaki for players’ player, and Stacey Katu took out the coaches award.

Hooker Stuart Flanagan capped off his fine season by being named the rookie of the year. Ben Jeffery was presented the Scott Gale leading tryscorer award after bagging 25 tries in 2006.

The Kevin O’Keefe Clubperson award went to Jim Farlow.

Half-back Ben Reynolds scored 196 points in 2006 to take out the Keith Barnes leading pointscorer award.
